Practice Area Specific Competency Training
We encourage you to view videos for all practice areas. This may give you ideas for intern projects, as well as provide a better understanding of what our interns have to look forward to this year! These videos are ~20-25 minutes each.

Once you have viewed all videos, please take time to reflect on your intern's schedule to meet the competencies. Then please complete page 2 of this form and email to dieteticinternship@IllinoisState.edu. Once received, we will provide your CEU certificate!
Encouraged Training
Our internship program is committed to supporting inclusion, diversity, equity, and access (IDEA) in Nutrition and Dietetics. Throughout the year, we will share resources to help preceptors stay current on strategies for promoting IDEA. The Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) offers a series of webinars to address IDEA. These webinars are free, and all preceptors are invited to view.

CDR Precepting Credit. Eligible for maximum of 3 CEUs per year (maximum 15 per 5 year cycle).
